From Dr. Gordon to Dr. Garret
Practicing in the iconic Olympia Professional Building on Capitol Way for over 40 years, Dr. Gordon Yamaguchi built a practice rooted in trust, compassion, and clinical excellence. A northwest native, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and graduated from UW School of Dentistry in 1977. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association and Washington State Dental Association.
Dr. Garret Yamaguchi, born and raised in Olympia, followed in his father's footsteps. He attended Claremont McKenna College, earning a degree in Science and Management with a minor in computer science, then graduated with a DDS from the University of Washington where he served as student body president. Today, he leads the practice with the same values his father instilled—now with cutting-edge technology.

Dr. Gordon Yamaguchi Opens Practice
A northwest native, Dr. Gordon Yamaguchi earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and graduated from UW School of Dentistry. He opened his practice in the iconic Olympia Professional Building on Capitol Way—where he would care for families for the next 40 years.
Dr. Garret Yamaguchi Joins the Practice
Son of Dr. Gordon, Dr. Garret was born and raised in Olympia. He attended Claremont McKenna College earning a degree in Science and Management with a minor in computer science, then graduated with a DDS from the University of Washington where he served as student body president.
A Brand-New Home in Tumwater
After 40 years in the iconic Olympia Professional Building on Capitol Way, the practice relocated to a modern, purpose-built single-story office at 210 Pinehurst Dr SW in Tumwater—just a few miles from the original location. Easy access, plenty of parking, and state-of-the-art technology designed around patient comfort.

Now led by Dr. Garret Yamaguchi alongside Dr. Cheyne Horie and Dr. Stefanie Hamamoto, the practice continues its legacy of world-class dental care for the entire South Sound. We've watched families grow—young patients return with children of their own.
